Right in my own backyard…but a world away!
Tri-Cities Quilt Show Featured Instructor • Kennewick, WA
March 23-25, 2018

If you live in Washington, you know that the difference between ‘west of the Cascades’ and ‘east of the Cascades’ means more than which way you turn: western Washington’s expansive landscapes and sunny skies make that difference clear. I won’t be seeing too much of the landscape, but I don’t mind because I’m honored to be a National Featured Artist and Speaker at this beautiful, friendly regional show. My new pattern for Mirage will debut there and along with 11 other quilts on display, I’ll be showing my latest version of Antelope Canyon quilt. I’ll also be presenting my lecture/trunk show “Color and Inspiration” in which I share what gives me inspiration for choosing fabrics and color schemes for my designs! Check out their website for more details as they are posted.

Come Stitching in beautiful, inspiring Alaska!
Valdez Quilt Festival • Valdez, AK
September 6-9, 2018

Part of the reason I moved to Seattle from the east coast was that it brought me ⅔ of the way to Alaska – a place I was eager to visit. I’ve been lucky enough to teach on a cruise to Alaska and return to teach Skagway. This year I am so happy and honored to be going back – this time to Valdez as one of the Featured Teachers. I’ll get to share 4 different patterns in classes that are sure to be filled with fun, plenty of fabric, and information. What better setting to be inspired to create something new. Details are still coming together, so sign up for my blog posts and follow their Facebook page to stay tuned in!
