It’s 2 days before the Western Washington Quilt Shop Hop 2011 and we just hung my new block of the month quilt called Ripples and Reflections at The Quilting Loft in Seattle (Ballard neighborhood). If I can be immodest for a moment and say it looks so great up on a wall – OK, I’ll use the words I want to use – it looks vibrant, lush, complex and just plain gorgeous! I hope all of you participating in the shop hop will stop in sometime from Wednesday through Sunday to see it in person.
I’ll be there Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (and maybe Saturday) demonstrating a few the techniques I use in my patterns. Plus, I’ve got about 10 of my quilts hanging in the shop.
You can also see samples of my brand new pattern for placemats and tablerunner called Making Waves. They’re just fun to make and really easy too! This set features Oceanica fabrics designed by Julie Paschkis for In the Beginning Fabrics. She’s also the gal who designed last year’s shop hop feature fabrics.
Hope to see a lot of you there.
